CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

The following are just a sampling of the classes offered.  For best results, Wilton recommends completing the Decorating Basics Course before taking Flowers & Cake Design or Gum Paste & Fondant.

Class Schedule


Miniature Gingerbread (Graham Cracker) House
Students will learn and construct these adorable little Gingerbread Houses (actually made from graham crackers).  We'll cut the graham crackers, construct the houses and decorate them in a variety of ways!  Then we'll finish them off by placing them on an edible chocolate base, and enclose them in a faux snow globe! 

All supplies are included! 

This 2-hour class is limited to 8 people in each session!  This class will only be offered twice!

Thanksgiving Sweets

In this brand new class we will be creating several different adorable sweets perfect for Thanksgiving!  Items include: turkeys, acorns, pumpkins, leaves, pilgrim hats, corn on the cob and more!

Holiday Cupcakes

In this 2 hour class, we'll make several adorable cupcakes perfect for the holidays!  Things like an elf, polar bear, ornament, melted snowman, presents, wreath, santa stuck in the snow, etc!  Always a favorite!

Stacked Cakes - Winter Wonderland

In one fun 2-hour class, you can learn how to professionally create stacked and tiered cakes! You'll will learn the techniques to assemble and decorate your special creation. In addition to learning how to prepare multi-layer cakes, you will receive valuable tips for serving, transporting and storing these "tall" cakes. **Some pre-class preparation is required** 

This cake will feature an igloo, snowflakes, and some cute penguins sliding around on sleds!

Modeling Chocolate - Ruffles, bows, and so much more!

This class will explore the many wonderful qualities of modeling chocolate!  It's unlike anything else you've used!  We'll learn how to make it, store it and use it to sculpt, create gravity defying ruffles, and so much more!

The Wilton Method® Decorating Basics Course is the perfect place to start! Gum Paste & Fondant

You’ll discover one of the most exciting and satisfying ways to decorate a cake. You'll create amazing hand-shaped flowers, beautiful borders and bold accents using these easy-to-shape icings. As you learn each technique – an artful bow, mum, rose, carnation, calla lily, rosebud, daisy and embellished borders – you’ll be closer to your crowning achievement: A final course cake that showcases your skills. These special one or two session classes are perfect for those wanting to learn a specific skill.  Most of these courses are perfect for younger students as well!  No pre-requisites unless specified.

Cupcake Basics!

This special two hour class is perfect for those who just want to work with cupcakes!  In this class, students will learn how to make the perfect buttercream icing, how to fill cupcakes with yumminess, and how to make that perfect swirl on top.  From there, students move on to working with fondant - how to cover a cupcake with fondant, textures, and even a fondant ribbon rose!  Seasonal decorating ideas are explored, too. All supplies are included - even 6 cupcakes!


Topsy Turvy/Mad Hatter Cake

Learn step-by-step how to create these super cool cakes! Decorating Basics is strongly encouraged.


Advanced Gum Paste Flowers

In this four week project class you will learn how to mix, tint, roll and form gum paste and learn how to create life like flowers and leaves out of gumpaste.

The daisy, rose, carnation and chrysanthemum are taught in this book as well. Since these flowers are covered in the Wilton courses and these flowers will not be duplicated in this project class.

Please note that this class is fast paced and some flowers are very detailed. I do not recommended taking this course if you have not worked with gumpaste before. I would recommend taking the Gumpaste and Fondant course first and then moving on to this class.
